Reasons for Decision

  1. This application was made by Mr Neil Singleton, the Insurance Commissioner, of the National Injury Insurance Agency (Queensland). The application, made pursuant to section 147 of the Industrial Relations Act 2016 (Qld), seeks to vary the Queensland Public Service Officers and Other Employees Award – State 2015 to cover employees of the National Injury Insurance Agency (Queensland).

  2. The proposed variations are agreed between the relevant parties, namely, the National Injury Insurance Agency (Queensland), and Together Queensland, Industrial Union of Employees.

  1. On the basis that there is consent between the relevant parties to vary the Award the Commission issues the following Orders:

1.the Queensland Public Service Officers and Other Employees Award – State 2015 be varied in the terms set out in the attached Order; and

2.the variations to the Award operate on and from 15 January 2018.
