THE PRESIDENT: This is an application under s 639(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1999 by the president of the Queensland Major Contractors Association, Industrial Organisation of Employers for an order deregistering that union. The application is made on the basis of s 638(g). I am satisfied that that ground has been made out. I am also satisfied that all necessary procedural requirements have been established. I am satisfied it is appropriate to make a deregistration order. I would order that the Queensland Major Contractors Association, Industrial Organisation of Employers be deregistered.
