THE PRESIDENT: This is an application under s 639(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1999 by the chairman and secretary of the Motor Trades Association of Queensland Industrial Organisation of Employers for an order deregistering that union. The application is made on the basis of s 638(g). I am satisfied that that ground has been made out. I am further satisfied that all necessary procedural requirements have been satisfied. I am satisfied it is appropriate to make a deregistration order. And I would order that the Motor Trades Association of Queensland Industrial Organisation of Employers be deregistered from today.
