AN ACT for the Re-appropriation of certain Moneys appropriated by " The Coolgardie Goldfields Water Supply Loan Act, 1896," and by " The Loan Act, 1896," and by " The Loans Consolidation Act, 1896."

| HEREAS by "The Loan Act, 1896," and by " The Loans to expend certain sums of money on the construction of the Public Works mentioned and enumerated in the Schedules to the said Acts: And whereas by the said Schedules the sum of Ninety-five thousand hounds was appropriated for Water Supply for Towns, and One hunched and forty-two thousand pounds for Fremantle Dock and Slip, and One hundred and twenty-eight thousand pounds for dredges and barges, and Two hundred and thirty-one thousand two hundred and sixty-three pounds nine shillings and eightpence for the Geraldton to Murchison Goldfields | W | Consolidation Act, 1896," the Governor was empowered | Preamble. |

Re-appropriation of Loan Moneys.
Railway, making a total for the above purposes of Five hundred and ninety-six thousand two hundred and sixty-three pounds nine shillings and eightpence : And whereas by " The Coolgardie Gold- fields Water Supply Loan Act, 1896," the Governor was empowered, from time to time, to raise by way of loan such several sums of money not exceeding in the whole the sum of Two millions five hundred thousand pounds as might be required for the purpose of providing a permanent Water Supply for the Coolgardie Goldfields: And whereas it is considered expedient to appropriate from such sums certain moneys for other Public Works : Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-
