Rates and Land Tax (Amendment) Act 1994

An Act to amend the Rates and Land Tax Act 1926

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

Short title

1.  This Act may be cited as the Rates and Land Tax (Amendment) Act 1994.

Commencement

2.  This Act commences on 1 July 1994.

Principal Act

3.  In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Rates and Land Tax Act 1926.1

Imposition

4.  Section 13 of the Principal Act is amended—

(a)by omitting from subsection (1) “0.985%” and substituting “0.990%”; and

(b)by omitting from subsection (2) “0.4925%” and substituting “0.495%”.
