GUMMOW J: Various disputes about a sofa bed bought by the applicant for $599 were dealt with by the Small Claims Tribunal of Western Australia. The Supreme Court of Western Australia then dismissed an originating summons seeking certiorari quashing orders made by a Referee of the Tribunal to which the applicant had consented. The Court of Appeal declined to extend the time for filing a notice of appeal on the ground that an appeal would have no prospects of success. We agree with that opinion. The papers filed by the applicant in this Court are prolix, embarrassing and virtually unintelligible. They raise no point of law and suggest no injustice.
Pursuant to r 41.10.5 we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application for special leave. I publish the disposition signed by Justice Heydon and myself.
AT 9.09 AM THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED
