Roman Catholic C h u r c h and c le rgyman ' s residence A n d whereas by
an order of t he Sup reme Cour t of N e w South Wales in E q u i t y t he
said lands were vested in t h e said P a t r i c k Francis M o r a n J a m e s Pe te r

H a n r a h a n and As ton J a m e s W a t k i n s upon t h e t rus ts declared in a n d by the said deeds of g ran t or such of t h e same as are now subsis t ing and capable of t ak ing effect A n d whereas i t is expedient t h a t t he said lands should be sold and t h a t t h e proceeds to arise from such sale should be applied in or towards t h e erection of a Roman Catholic C h u r c h and c le rgyman ' s residence upon ano the r and more eligible site a t R a n d w i c k aforesaid and in p a y m e n t for such site Be i t therefore enacted by t h e Queen 's Most Exce l l en t Majes ty by and wi th t h e advice and consent of t he Legis la t ive Council and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled and by the au tho r i t y of t h e same as follows :—•

1. Af ter t h e pass ing of th is A c t it shall be lawful for t h e said Pa t r ick Francis M o r a n J a m e s P e t e r H a n r a h a n and As ton J a m e s W a t k i n s hereinafter styled Trustees the i r heirs and assigns or other t h e Trus tees for t h e t ime be ing of t he said g ran t s of t h e first day of M a r c h one thousand e ight hund red and eighty-one to sell and abso­ lute ly dispose of t he said land by pub l i c auct ion or pr iva te con t rac t and ei ther in one lot or several lots as t hey shall deem most expedient for such pr ice or prices as can be had or obtained for t he same and w h e n sold to convey t h e same or any p a r t or par t s thereof to t h e purchaser or purchasers in fee-simple freed and discharged from t h e said t rus t s affecting t he same a n d the receipt in wr i t ing of t he said Trus tees the i r heirs or assigns or of t h e Trustees or Trus tee for t h e time; be ing of t he said gran ts shall absolutely discharge t he purchase r or purchasers of t he said land or a n y p a r t or pa r t s thereof from t h e purchase money payable by h im or t h e m from seeing to t h e appl icat ion of t he said purchase money and from all l iabil i ty as to t he mis-appli­

2. The said Trustees the i r heirs or assigns shall s tand possessed of all moneys ar is ing from a n y a n d every such sale or sales as afore­ said upon t ru s t to app ly t h e proceeds of such sale in or towards pu rchas ing and pay ing for an eligible site for a Roman Catholic Church and c le rgyman ' s residence at Randwick aforesaid and bu i ld ing such church and residence and the receipt of any person or persons to w h o m any moneys shall be paid unde r the provisions of th i s A c t shall be valid and complete discharge to t h e said Trustees the i r heirs or assigns for such moneys . McGee ' s six acres t h r e e roods and bounded thence on the south by p a r t of the no r the rn bounda ry of t h a t land bear ing west t o u r chains for ty- three l inks on the west by the eas te rn boundary of a measured por t ion of one rood thir ty-s ix perches bear ing n o r t h two chains n ine l inks and half-a-link on t h e nor th-wes t by lines bear ing n o r t h seventy- one degrees east two chains t en l inks and thence nor th fifty-six degrees east forty l inks on the nor th-eas t by a road one chain wide bear ing south for ty- two degrees twenty-seven m i n u t e s cast t h r ee chains twen ty l inks and on the east by a l ine bear ing south sixty- th ree l inks to t he point of commencement .

Also t h a t piece or parcel of land in our said Colony conta in ing by admeasure­ ment two roods be the same more or less s i tuated in t he county of Cumber land and parish of Alexandr ia a t Randwick Commencing a t a point bea r ing n o r t h for ty-seven degrees th i r ty - th ree minu tes cas t and d is tant one chain from the nor th-eas te rn corner of a measured por t ion of t h r ee roods th i r ty-seven perches appropr ia ted for a Roman Catholic Church and bounded thence on the south-west by a road one chain wide bear ing n o r t h forty-two degrees twenty-seven minu tes west t h r ee chains four l inks on t h e nor th-west by lines bear ing n o r t h fifty-six degrees east one chain fifty-five l inks and thence nor th sixty-nine degrees east one chain fifty l inks on the east by a line bear ing south t h r ee chains five links and on the south-eas t by a l ine bear ing south forty-seven degrees t h i r t y - three minutes west n ine ty l inks to t he point of commencement .
