’̂ '^y ilE R E A S by an Act of the Governor and Legislative Council of Preamble.

N('\v South Wales passed in the eighteenth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria and numbered fourteen certain public roads or thoroughfares as set forth and described in the Schedule A 1 of the said Act were placed in trust according to the provisions of the said Act And whereas by an amended Act of the Parliament of Now South Wales passed in the thirty-tirst year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria and numbered twenty-one the Commissioners of the said Trust wore thereby authorized and empowered to transfer the road mentioned in the third paragrapli of the said Schedule to any Municipal Council or Councils requiring the same And whereas it is expedient to make further provision for the transfer of the remaining portions of the said roads mentioned in the first and second paragraphs of the said Schedule of the said first-recited Act Be it

Prom and after the passing of this Act it shall be lawful fo)‘ the Commissioners of the said Trust to transfer to the Municipal Council of Sydney that portion of the roads mentioned in the first and second paragraphs of the Schedule of the said recited Act extending about one hundred and thirty-seven chains from Botany-street through the Sydney Common and Water lleserve to the gate at the entrance to the Bandwick Bacecourse and to the Municipal Council of Bandwick that portion of the said roads extending about one hundred and seventy-

Short title.

2. This Act shall be styled and may be cited as the “ Bandwick and Coogee Boads Transfer Act of 1869.”
