MR A.H. RALPH appeared in person.
HIS HONOUR: Mr Ralph, I understand you are acting on your own behalf, is that right?
MR RALPH: Yes, your Honour.
HIS HONOUR: I have just been given a copy of an affidavit which you swore on 24 January, that is today. Is that right?
MR RALPH: Yes, your Honour.
HIS HONOUR: That is an affidavit upon which you seek to rely as well as on your affidavit of 17 October last year, is that right?
MR RALPH: Yes, your Honour.
HIS HONOUR: Do I understand that you are asking for an extension of time for submission of your written case?
MR RALPH: Yes, your Honour.
HIS HONOUR: What extension of time are you asking for? How long do you want?
MR RALPH: Your Honour, I believe I have submitted all documents except one, a copy of my passport which may be relevant, so I wish that perhaps two weeks would be fine, but this is over and above this ‑ ‑ ‑
HIS HONOUR: Do I understand then that if I were to extend the time for the applicant to file his written case to 7 February 2008 that would meet your needs, is that right?
MR RALPH: Yes, your Honour.
HIS HONOUR: I will make that order, Mr Ralph. You should understand that the date of 7 February is a fixed date with which you should comply. Do you understand that?
MR RALPH: Yes, your Honour.
HIS HONOUR: Yes. The order is extend the time for the applicant to file his written case to 7 February 2008. Is there any other order you ask me to make?
MR RALPH: No, your Honour.
HIS HONOUR: Yes, thank you. There are orders in those terms. Thank you, Mr Ralph. That I think completes the matters we have by video link to Adelaide. We can terminate the link. Yes, thank you, Mr Ralph.
AT 10.04 AM THE MATTER WAS CONCLUDED
