MR A.H. RALPH appeared in person.

HER HONOUR:   Mr Ralph, I understand you are appearing for yourself this morning?

MR RALPH:   Yes, your Honour.

HER HONOUR:   And I understand that you have been able to fax to the Court documents in this matter which you are proposing to file shortly at the Registry?

MR RALPH:   Yes, your Honour.

HER HONOUR:   May I ask you this, Mr Ralph, will you be able to do that today?

MR RALPH:   I was going to ask if maybe next week because I just wanted to make sure a point of my application was correct, which I noticed yesterday, but I will just speak to Registry about that.  So perhaps if it is maybe next Wednesday or something, which is fine, if that is all right with you.

HER HONOUR:   Yes.  Well, if I were to extend the time for the filing of the documents until Wednesday, 24 September, do you believe you would be able to meet that time?

MR RALPH:   Yes, your Honour.

HER HONOUR:   You do, very well.  All right.  Well, I will extend the time required under the Rules for the filing of documents in respect of Mr Andrew Ralph’s application for special leave to appeal until 4 o’clock Wednesday, 24 September 2008.  Nothing further?  Thank you, Mr Ralph.
