AN ACT to authorise the Survey of certain

Railways.

[Assented to 30th December, 1913.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andLegislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Par-with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and liament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

This Act may be cited as the Railways Survey Act, 1914.

Short title.

Authority to

2.     It shall be lawful for the Minister for Works to survey the surveyg

several lines of railway described in the schedule to this Act ; and for such purpose the Minister for Works, and all persons acting under his authority, may exercise the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1902, in respect of railways authorised to be constructed by a special Act.

Provided that the Minister for Works may deviate from the said lines to the extent shown on the maps referred to in the Schedule.

THE SCHEDULE.

EXTENSION OF THE BOYANUP-BUSSELTON RAILWAY TO

MARGARET RIVER.

Commencing at or near the Busselton Station; thence to a terminating point on the Flinders Bay-Margaret River Railway, in or near Government Reserve No. 13778, in the district of Sussex, as more particularly delineated and coloured red on map marked P.W.D., W.A. 17484.

EXTENSION OF THE WAGIN-KUKERIN RAILWAY TO LAKE GRACE.

Commencing in or near the Kukerin Railway Station, and thence to a ter- minating point in or near Location 10155, Williams District, as more particularly delineated and coloured red on map marked P.W.D., W.A. 17478.

EXTENSION OF THE KATANNING-NYABING RAILWAY TO PINGRUP.

Commencing in or near the Nyabing Station, and thence to a terminating point in or near Government Temporary Reserve 336, Kent District, as more particularly delineated and coloured red on map marked P.W.D., W.A. 17479.

EXTENSION OF THE YILLIMINNING-KONDININ RAILWAY TO

MERREDIN.

Commencing at the terminus of the Yilliminuing-Kondinin Railway, and thence to a terminating point in or near Merredin Station, as approximately delineated and coloured red on map marked P.W.D., WA., 17480.

WONGAN HILLS TO WYALCATCHEM-MOUNT MARSHALL RAILWAY.

Commencing in or near the Wongan Hills Station, and thence to a terminating point on the Wyalcatchem-Mount Marshall Railway, as approximately delineated and coloured red on map marked P.W.D., W.A., 17842.

EXTENSION OF THE WYALCATCHEM-MOUNT MARSHALL RAILWAY

TO THE DOWERIN-IIIER•EDIN RAILWAY.

Commencing at the terminus of the Wyalcatchem-Mount Marshall Railway, and thence to a terminating point on the Dowerin-Merredin Railway, as approxi- mately delineated and coloured red on map marked P.W.D., W.A., 17481.

EXTENSION OF THE PINJAR•A-DWARDA RAILWAY TO NARROGIN.

Commencing in or near the Dwarda Station, and thence to a terminating point on the Great Southern Railway, in or near the Narrogin Station, as approxi- mately delineated and coloured red on map marked P.W.D., W.A. 17483.

ARMADALE TO PINJARRA-DWARDA RAILWAY EXTENSION.

Commencing at a point on the South-Western Railway, in the neighbourhood of Armadale Station; thence to a terminating point on the Pinjarra-Nanogia Rail- way, as approximately delineated and coloured red on map marked P.W.D., W.A., 17492.
