AN ACT to authorise the discontinuance of the operation of the Hopetoun-Ravensthorpe Railway and for other purposes.

[Assented to 13th November, 7946.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Railway (Hopetoun- Short title.

Ravensthorpe) Discontinuance Act, 1946.

2.    The Hopetoun-Ravensthorpe Railway as authorised upaisnecoar

by and constructed under the Hopetoun-Ravensthorpe operationf

Railway Act, 1906 (No. 22 of 1906) shall, on the coin- g ia„Zes- mencement of this Act, cease to be operated until the Railway. Governor otherwise declares, and the material thereof

may be used in the construction or maintenance of any other authorised railway or may be sold, disposed of or otherwise dealt with as the Minister for Railways may determine.
