Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Act 1983.

Amount of tax

Regulation 3 of the Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (3) and substituting the following sub-regulation:

“(3) Where the amount of tax in respect of the grant of a transmitter licence would, but for this sub-regulation, be an amount not exceeding $30, the amount of tax in respect of that licence is $30 or 75% of the amount for one year, whichever is the less.”.
