Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Act 1983.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 5 October 1992.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Radiocommunications (Transmitter License Tax) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 3 (Amount of tax)

3.1 Subregulation 3(2):

Omit the subregulation.

4.   Schedule

4.1 Items 10A and 10B:

Omit the items .

4.2 After Item 17, insert:

“17A	Broadcasting service transmitter (broadcasting services bands)	20
17B	Broadcasting service transmitter (national broadcasting services)	20
17C	Broadcasting service transmitter (re-transmission)	20
17D	Broadcasting service transmitter (temporary)	20
17E	Broadcasting service transmitter (testing)	20

4.3 Item 21A:

Omit the item.

4.4 Item 22:

Omit from Column 2 “, Class B”.
