Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Act 1983.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 December 1989.

Principal Regulations

2. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Regulations.

Interpretation

3. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting before paragraph (a) in the definition of “service” in subregulation (1) the following paragraph:

“(aa) ambulatory service (low frequency);”.

Tax in respect of grant of transmitter licence—certain fixed amounts

4. Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting the table at the foot of subregulation (1) and substituting the following table:
