Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Act 1983.

1. Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on 1 December 1992.

 

2. Amendment

2.1 The Radiocommunications (Transmitter Licence Tax) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Regulation 3a (Amount of tax on public mobile telcommunications service licence)

3.1 Paragraphs 3a (2) (a) and 3a (2) (b):

Omit “$700,000.00” (wherever occurring), substitute “$708,400.00”.

3.2 Subregulation 3a (2b):

Omit “$700,000.00”, substitute “$708,400.00”.

4. Regulation 4 (Tax in respect of grant of transmitter licence— certain fixed amounts)
