Radiocommunications (Spectrum Designation) Notice No. 1 of 2005

I, HELEN LLOYD COONAN, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, having consulted with the Australian Communications Authority, under subsection 36(1) of the Radiocommunications Act 1992, designate the following parts of the spectrum to be allocated by issuing spectrum licences:

(a)     the frequency band between 20.2 GHz and 21.2 GHz throughout Australia; and

(b)     the frequency band between 30 GHz and 31 GHz throughout Australia.

In this Notice, the range of numbers that identifies a frequency band includes the higher but not the lower number.
