This Determination is the Radiocommunications (Spectrum Access Charges — 2.5 GHz Mid-band Gap) Determination 2013.

2 Commencement

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.

Note         All legislative instruments and compilations are registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments kept under the Legislative Instruments Act 2003. See Definitions and interpretation
(1)     In this Determination:
Conversion Plan means the Radiocommunications Spectrum Conversion Plan (2.5 GHz Mid-band Gap) 2012.
nominated geographic area means the geographic area described in Item 1 in Schedule 1 to the Conversion Plan but does not include the geographic areas of exclusion described in Item 2 in Schedule 1 to the Conversion Plan.
(2)     In this Determination the range of numbers that identifies a frequency band includes the higher, but not the lower, number.
4          Spectrum access charge payable
The amount of spectrum access charge payable by a licensee mentioned in Column 1 in the following table for the issue of a spectrum licence in respect of the corresponding bandwidth mentioned in Column 2, within the nominated geographic area, is the corresponding amount mentioned in Column 3.

5          When spectrum access charge is payable
A spectrum access charge fixed by this Determination for the issue of a spectrum licence is payable on or before 1 August 2014.
6          Expiry
This Determination ceases to have effect at the end of 2 October 2014.
