Radiocommunications (Licensing and General) Regulations 2(Amendment)

  

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Radiocommunications Act 1983.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Radiocommunications (Licensing and General) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2.   Schedule 1 (Specified Expressions in relation to transmitters)

2.1   Item 20A:

Omit paragraph (a) (in column 3), substitute:

 “(a) a base station, not forming part of a cellular mobile telephone service, which is:

  • (i)

    able to communicate by means of radiocommunications with; or

  • (ii)

    connected by a line to;

 a public switched telephone network; and”.

  

3.   Schedule 2 (Fee for examination for the purpose of section 12 of the Act)

3.1   After item 6, insert:

 

“6A 309 1,500”.
