following      determination      under      section      266A      of      the

Radiocommunications Act 1992.

Title

1.    This determination is the Radiocommunications (Certificates—27 GHz Band) Determination 2000.

Commencement

2.    This determination commences on  21 September  2000.

Purpose

3. This determination sets out the condition that applies in relation to the issuing of a certificate under subsection 145(3) of the Act for the 27GHz band.

Interpretation

4.    In this determination, unless the contrary intention appears:

accredited person means a person accredited under section 263 of the Act to issue certificates for the purposes of section 145 of the Act.

Act means the Radiocommunications Act 1992.

27 GHz band means the frequency band 26.5 GHz - 27.5 GHz.

s.145 determination means the Radiocommunications (Unacceptable Levels of Interference—27 GHz Band) Determination 2000.

Condition

5. The condition for the issue of a certificate under subsection 145(3) of the Act, for a transmitter operating under a spectrum licence issued for the 27 GHz band, is that the accredited person is satisfied that the operation of the device will not cause an unacceptable level of interference as set out in the s.145 determination.
