Radiocommunications Act 1992 . Dated 10 November 1999.

These regulations commence on gazettal.
Schedule 1 amends the
Radiocommunications Regulations 1993 .
(regulation 3)
substitute
penalty , in relation to an offence of a kind mentioned in section 315 of the Act,means a penalty of an amount worked out in accordance with that section.

(h) space satellites operated by Globalstar L.P. (incorporated in the United States of America) to provide radiocommunication services to Australia;
(i) space satellites operated by ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Ltd (incorporated in the Cayman Islands) to provide radiocommunication services to Australia;
(j) space satellites operated by Inmarsat Limited (incorporated in the United Kingdom) to provide radiocommunication services to Australia.

23 When may an infringement notice be served? If there are reasonable grounds for believing that a person has committed an offence of a minor nature against a provision mentioned in section 315 of the Act, an authorised person may serve, or cause to be served, an infringement notice on that person.
