These are the
Radiocommunications Accreditation (Transition) Rules 2021 .
This instrument commences at the same time as Schedule 5 to the Amendment Act commences.

4 Repeal of this instrument This instrument is repealed at the start of the first anniversary of the day this instrument commences.
5 Definitions In this instrument:
accreditation has the meaning given by the Act, as in force at the time Schedule 5 to the Amendment Act commences.
accreditation principles means theRadiocommunications (Accreditation – Prescribed Certificates) Principles 2014 , as in force immediately before the commencement of Schedule 5 to the Amendment Act.
accreditation rules means theRadiocommunications Accreditation (General) Rules 2021 , as in force at the time Schedule 5 to the Amendment Act commences.
Act means theRadiocommunications Act 1992 .
Amendment Act means theRadiocommunications Legislation Amendment (Reform and Modernisation) Act 2020 as in force at the time Schedule 5 to that Act commences.
General Licensing Accreditation means the kind of accreditation specified in paragraph 7(1)(a) of the accreditation rules.

6 Transition of existing accreditation
(1) This section is made for the purposes of paragraph 26(1)(c) of Schedule 5 to the Amendment Act.
(2) Accreditation of the kind specified in paragraph 5(a) of the accreditation principles is taken, for the purposes of item 26, to correspond to the General Licensing Accreditation.
(3) Accreditation of the kind specified in paragraph 5(b) of the accreditation principles is taken, for the purposes of item 26, to correspond to the General Licensing Accreditation.
(4) Accreditation of the kind specified in paragraph 5(c) of the accreditation principles is taken, for the purpose of item 26, to correspond to the General Licensing Accreditation.
