RADIATION SAFETY (GENERAL) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (No. 3) 1995

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Radiation Safety (General)

Amendment Regulations (No. 3) 1995.

Principal regulations

2. In these regulations the Radiation Safety (General) Regulations 1983*

are referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 58 amended

(c) in subregulation (2) (a) by inserting after "subregulation (1)" the
following — or (laa)

3. Regulation 58 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in subregulation (1) by inserting after "any premises" the

following —

, other than premises used solely for the mining and

milling of radioactive ores (including mineral sands), ro.

(b) by inserting after subregulation ( 1) the following
subregulation —

(laa) An applicant for the registration or renewal of registration of any premises used solely for the mining and milling of radioactive ores (including mineral sands) shall pay to the Council the fee set out in item 1A of Part 1 of Schedule XV. ro.

following - " or (7a)

Regulation 59 amended

4.

after "any premises" the following - Regulation 59 (10) of the principal regulations is amended by inserting

Schedule XV amended

S.	(1) Part 1 of Schedule XV to the principal regulations is amended
(a) in item 1 by inserting after "premises" the following -

milling of radioactive Ores (including mineral sands),

(b) by inserting after item 1 the following item -

(2) Part 2 of Schedule XV to the principal regulations is amended by
