RADIATION SAFETY (GENERAL) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1995

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

By His Excellency's Command, M. C. WAUCHOPE, Clerk of the Council.

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Radiation Safety (General)

Amendment Regulations 1995.

Schedule I amended

2.     Schedule I of the Radiation Safety (General) Regulations 1983* is

amended in item 2 (1) by inserting after paragraph (a) the following
paragraph —

(aa) low frequency electromagnetic radiation with frequencies from 3 kHz to 100 kHz which exceed the limits specified in the publication entitled "IEEE Standard for Safety Levels with respect to Human Exposure to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields, 3 kHz to 300 GHz" published as IEEE C95.1-1991 by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers;
