s1 2 s3 Radiation Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2007 No. 54, 2007 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Radiation Safety Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2007 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Radiation Safety Regulation 1999. 3 Insertion of new s 8B After section 8A— insert— ‘8B Prescribed sealed radioactive substance, Act—s 52 ‘(1) For section 52(1)(b) of the Act, an iodine-125 seed with an activity of no more than 40MBq is a prescribed sealed radioactive substance for brachytherapy. ‘(2) In this section— iodine-125 seed means iodine-125 as a sealed radioactive substance.’.
