I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Radiation Protection Act 2005 .13 December 2016

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Radiation Protection Amendment Regulations 2016 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which the Building Act 2016 commences. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 27 amended (Plumbing standards) Regulation 27(b) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " Building Act 2000 " and substituting " Building Act 2016 ".
