Radiation Protection Amendment Regulations 2013

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Radiation Protection Act 2005 .26 June 2013

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Radiation Protection Amendment Regulations 2013 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 July 2013. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Radiation Protection Regulations 2006 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 42 amended (Exemptions for radiation sources used in educational institutions) Regulation 42(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (c) from the definition of educational institution and substituting the following paragraph: (c) TasTAFE created by the Training and Workforce Development Act 2013 ;
