I make the following order under section 17(4) of the Racing Act 1983 .30 July 1997

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Racing Order 1997 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day after the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Section 17 of Racing Act 1983 amendedSection 17(2)(d) of the Racing Act 1983 is amended by omitting "Tasmanian Bloodhorse Breeders Association" and substituting "Thoroughbred Breeders Tasmania".

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 6 August 1997

This order is administered in the Department of Primary Industry and Fisheries by the Tasmanian Racing Authority.
