Racing and Gaming Regulations Amendment

(Liquor Control) Regulations 2020

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1 — Preliminary

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Racing and Gaming Regulations

Amendment (Liquor Control) Regulations 2020.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

Part 2 -Liquor Control (Bungardi Restricted Area)

Regulations 2017 amended

3.             Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Bungardi Restricted Area) Regulations 2017.
4.	Regulation 4 deleted Delete regulation 4.

5.            Regulation 9 replaced

Delete regulation 9 and insert:

9.            Period during which these regulations have effect

Unless sooner repealed, these regulations have effect for the period that ends at the close of 19 August 2023.

Part 3 - Liquor Control (Jiiwiirliiiji Restricted Area)

Regulations 2009 amended

6.            Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Juwurlinji Restricted
Area) Regulations 2009.

7.            Regulations 3 and 4 replaced Delete regulations 3 and 4 and insert:

3.           Term used: Juwurlinji Aboriginal Community

In these regulations -

Juwurlinji Aboriginal Community means the area of land, being part of Pastoral Lease N049619 (Lot 65), that -

(a) is within 5 km of the public phone box located
at the point with the following Geocentric
Datum of Australia 2020 (GDA2020)
coordinates -

(i) 16.869986°S;

(ii) 128.185841°E;

but

(b) excludes the area that is part of Pastoral
Lease N050126.

8.             Regulation 9 replaced

Delete regulation 9 and insert:

9.            Period during which these regulations have effect

Unless sooner repealed, these regulations have effect for the period that ends at the close of 24 July 2023.

Part 4 -Liquor Control (Looina Restricted Area)

Regulations 2011 amended

9.            Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Looma Restricted Area) Regulations 2011.
10.	Regulation 4 deleted Delete regulation 4.

11.          Regulation 9 replaced

Delete regulation 9 and insert:

9.           Period during which these regulations have effect

Unless sooner repealed, these regulations have effect for the period that ends at the close of 28 May 2023.

Part 5 Liquor Control (Noonkanbah Restricted Area)

Regulations 2009 amended

12.          Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Noonkanbah Restricted
Area) Regulations 2009.

13.          Regulations 3 and 4 replaced

Delete regulations 3 and 4 and insert:

3. Term used: Noonkanbah Aboriginal Community
In these regulations -
Noonkanbah Aboriginal Community means -

(a) the area of land the subject of—

(i)     Certificate of Title 2835/75 (Lots 10 and 50); and

(ii)     Crown Reserve 26355 (Lot 339); and

(iii)     Crown Reserve 50851 (Lot 501); and

(iv)     Pastoral Lease N049848 (Lot 255);

and

(b)

the portion of Crown Reserve 23226 bounded Lease N049848 (Lot 255).

Part 6— Liquor Control (Pandanus Park Restricted

Area) Regulations 2011 amended

15.          Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Pandanus Park Restricted
Area) Regulations 2011.

16.          Regulation 4 deleted

Delete regulation 4.

17.          Regulation 9 replaced

Delete regulation 9 and insert:

Part 7 Liquor Co,, trol (Spinifex Restricted Area)

Regulations 2014 amended

18.          Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Spin/ex Restricted Area) Regulations 2014.
19.	Regulation 4 deleted Delete regulation 4.

21.     Regulations amended

This Part amends the Liquor Control (Woolah Restricted Area)
Regulations 2017.

22.   Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3 in the definition of Woolah Aboriginal
Community delete "Crown Lease H081623." and insert:

Deposited Plan 219580 (Crown Lease H081623).

23.	Regulation 4 deleted Delete regulation 4.
24.	Regulation 9 replaced Delete regulation 9 and insert:

9.      Period during which these regulations have effect

Unless sooner repealed, these regulations have effect

for the period that ends at the close of 19 August 2023.
