s1 2 s3 Racing and Betting Amendment (No. 1) No. 261, 1995 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Racing and Betting Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1995 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Racing and Betting Regulation 1981 . ˙ Insertion of new s 64A 3. After section 64— insert— ˙ Limits on automated investments 64A.(1) This section applies to a person (a “bettor” )who uses a computer or another automated device (a “remote input terminal” ) that— (a) is connected to a totalisator; and (b) can transmit more than 46 investments to the totalisator in 1 minute. (2) The bettor must not use a remote input terminal to transmit more than 46 investments to the totalisator in 1 minute. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. (3) A totalisator operator must not— (a) accept more than 46 investments in 1 minute from the bettor; or (b) allow the bettor access to more than 1 data entry point.
