Racing and Betting Act Amendment Act 1985, No. 31 375 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Racing and Betting Act Amendment Act 1985. (2) In this Act the Racing and Betting Act 1980-1984 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Racing and Betting Act 1980-1985. 2. Amendment of s. 116 . Establishment of Fund . Section 116 of the Principal Act is amended in subsection (3) by omitting provision (a) and substituting the following provision:- "(a) all moneys levied charged and paid in respect of any class of totalisator pursuant to section 211 of this Act.". 3. Ratification of payment of levy. The payment to the Racing Development Fund, on and from the commencement of the Racingand Betting Act Amendment Act 1984 (No.2) of the Racing Development Fund levy in accordance with section 211 of the Racing and BettingAct 1980-1984 and Part II of the Second Schedule to that Act, as amended by the Racing and Betting Act Amendment Act 1984 (No. 2) is hereby authorized. ratified and affirmed.
