[ASSENTED TO 27TH OCTOBER, 1903.J B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : - 1. This Act may be cited as " The Rabbit Boards Aat Short title. Amendment Aat of 1903," and shall be read and construed with and as an amendment of "The Rabbit Boards Aat, 1896,"* hereinafter called the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as "The Rabbit Boards Acts, 1896 to 1903." 2. The Principal Act shall continue in force until Continuation the end of the year one thousand nine hundred and eight < fe; f~ ~ c: fxal and thereafter until the end of the then next session of years. Parliament. Section three of the Principal Act is repealed. 3. The first proviso to section twenty-two of the Amendment Principal Act is repealed, and the following provision is ~ ~:~ ~;- ~~ o inserted in lieu thereof :- of Principal Act. Provided that the assessment in respect of a run held under lease or license from the Crown shall in no case be upon a less number of stock than in the proportion of such number of cattle or sheep for every available square mile of the run as the Governor in Council may fix from time to time either generally or with respect to any District or Districts, and which number may in his discretion b'1 in the case of cattle ten or a less number, and in the case of sheep fifty or a less number.
