Application for leave to be considered in private

  1. DUGGAN J.      The applicant applied to this court seeking leave to appeal against his conviction.  The notice of appeal contained several grounds, and more were added by way of amendment.

  2. A single judge of the court refused leave to appeal on all grounds.  The applicant then applied to have the application heard by the Full Court.  The application was considered in private by a Full Court, constituted by myself, Justice Debelle and Justice Williams.

  3. The majority are of the view that leave to appeal on all grounds should be refused.  The order of the court is leave to appeal against conviction refused on all grounds.
