2 Queensland Marine (Pleasure Yacht Equipment) Amendment (No. 1) No. 242, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Marine (Pleasure Yacht Equipment) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1992 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Navigation (Equipment of Pleasure Yachts) Regulation 1971 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Replacement of s.1 3. Section 1— omit, insert — ˙ ‘Short title ‘1. This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Marine (Pleasure Yacht Equipment) Regulation 1971 . ’. ˙ Replacement of s.4 4. Section 4— omit, insert — ˙ ‘Definitions ‘4. In this regulation— “length” of a vessel means the length measured from the forepart of the stem to the aft-side of the tuck or stern; “private motor boat or private motor vessel” has the meaning given by the Queensland Marine (Motor Boat and Motor Vessel) Regulation 1975 ; “smooth water limits” means the waters— (a) of rivers, creeks, streams and lakes; and (b) within breakwaters or revetments; and (c) mentioned in Part B of Schedule 6 to the Queensland Marine
