QUEENSLAND GRANT (BUNDABERG

IRRIGATION WORKS) ACT 1974

An Act to amend the Queensland Grant (Bundaberg Irrigation Works)

Act 1970.

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, the Senate and the House of

Representatives of Australia, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Queensland Grant (Bundaberg Short title

Irrigation Works) Act 1974.' and citation.

(2) The Queensland Grant (Bundaberg Irrigation Works) Act 1970*	1

is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

(3) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the

Queensland Grant (Bundaberg Irrigation Works) Act 1970-1974.

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives Commence-

3.	Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from sub­	Grant of

4. Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph Provision

(i) a contract entered into before the date of commence­ ment of the Queensland Grant (Bundaberg Irrigation Works) Act 1974 and providing for the expenditure of more than $500,000; or

(ii) a contract entered into on or after that date and provid­ ing for the expenditure of more than $200,000,

unless the contract was entered into with the approval of the

Minister.” .
