Queensland Competition Authority Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Competition Authority Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 . 2 Regulation amended This part amends the Queensland Competition Authority Regulation 2007 . 3 Amendment of s 3 (Fees—Act, s 245(2)) Section 3(1), ‘schedule 2’— omit, insert— ‘schedule 1’. 4 Omission of sch 1 (Central Queensland coal network rail infrastructure) Schedule 1— omit. 5 Amendment and renumbering of sch 2 (Services and functions for which fees are payable) (1) Schedule 2— insert— ‘1A if requested by a government agency or another person carrying on a monopoly business activity—giving advice about pricing practices relating to the activity under part 3, division 5 of the Act’. (2) Schedule 2, items 13 and 14— omit, insert— ‘13 performance of any function of the authority under part 5A, division 2, subdivision 7 of the Act, including the making of a water pricing determination for a monopoly water supply activity Page 2 2012 SL No. 198

(4) Schedule 2, item 24— omit, insert— ‘24 if directed by the Ministers—each of the following services for any matter relating to competition, industry, productivity or best practice regulation— (a) conducting an investigation; (b) reporting to the Ministers’. (5) Schedule 2, items 1A to 25— renumber as items 2 to 21. (6) Schedule 2— renumber as schedule 1.
