Queensland Community Safety (Postponement) Regulation (No. 2) 2025 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Community Safety (Postponement) Regulation (No. 2) 2025.

2   Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions

(1)The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 30 August 2026.

Note—

The postponed law now automatically commences on 31 August 2026.

(2)In this section—

postponed law means the following provisions of the Queensland Community Safety Act 2024—

(a)section 84;

(b)section 88, to the extent it inserts schedule 5A, items 1 and 3.

3   Expiry

This regulation expires on 1 September 2026.
