Queensland Building Services Authority and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Building Services Authority and Other Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2008 . 2 Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions (1) The period before automatic commencement, under the ActsInterpretationAct1954 , section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 31 December 2008. (2) In this section— postponed law means the uncommenced provisions of the QueenslandBuildingServicesAuthorityandOtherLegislation Amendment Act 2007 . Editor’s note — The postponed law now automatically commences on 1 January 2009. 3 Expiry This regulation expires on 2 January 2009.
