Queensland Building and Construction Commission (Rectification of Building Work) Amendment Regulation 2021 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (Rectification of Building Work) Amendment Regulation 2021.

2   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Regulation 2018.

3   Insertion of new s 53A

After section 53—
insert—

53A   Period to rectify or remediate under direction—Act, s 72

For section 72(4) of the Act, the period—

(a)starts on the day the direction is made, as stated in the direction; and

(b)ends on the day that is 35 days after the day mentioned in paragraph (a).
