Queensland Building and Construction Commission Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 9 October 2015. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Regulation 2003. 4 Insertion of new pt 7, div 6 Part 7— insert— Division 6 Transitional provision for Queensland Building and Construction Commission Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 59 Existing application for contractor’s licence or renewal (1) This section applies if, before the commencement, a person applied for a contractor’s licence under section 33 of the Actor the renewal of a contractor’s licence under section 37B of the Actand the application had not been decided. (2) For the purposes of deciding the application— (a) the new policy does not apply; and Page 2 2015 SL No. 138

Note — Under section 35(3)(a) of the Act, a licensee must satisfy the relevant financial requirements stated in the board’s policies. The new policy takes effect on 9 October 2015.
