E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. This Act may be cited as "The Queensland- Short title British Food Production Act Amendment Act of 1950," :!struction and shall be read as one with *" The Queensland-British Food Production Act of 1948," herein referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively Collective cited as " The Queensland-British Food Production Acts, title. 1948 to 1950." 2. Subsection three of section twenty-three of the Principal Act is amended by repealing paragraph (ii.) thereof, and by inserting the following paragraph in lieu of that repealed paragraph, namely:- "(ii.) Section three of the Principal Act is amended OfB.3. by repealing therein the definition "Overseas Food Corporation ". Amendments OfB.4. 3. Section four of the Principal Act is amended- (a) By repealing the word " subsection " where that word appears in subsection two of that section and by inserting, in lieu of that repealed word, the word " section ". (b) By repealing the words "Overseas Food Corporation" where those words appear twice in subsection three of that section and by inserting, in lieu of those words where so repealed, the words " Minister of Food of the United Kingdom". * 12 G. 6 No. 16 and amending Act.
