Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (Delegated

Site) Amendment By-laws 2015

Made under section 13(2e)(b) of the Act by the Minister in his capacity
as the board of the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital with the approval of the
Governor given on the recommendation of the Trust.

1.             Citation

These by-laws are the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre
(Delegated Site) Amendment By-laws 2015.

2.             Commencement

These by-laws come into operation as follows —

(a) by-laws 1 and 2 — on the day on which these by-laws

are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the by-laws — on the day fixed under the

Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 2(b).

3.             By-laws amended

These by-laws amend the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre
(Delegated Site) By-laws 1986.

4.             By-law 3 amended

(1) In by-law 3(1) insert in alphabetical order:

responsible person, for a vehicle, means the person
responsible for the vehicle under the Road Traffic

(Administration) Act 2008 section 6;

(2) In by-law 3(1) in the definition of roadway delete “within the
meaning of the Road Traffic Act 1974,” and insert:
as defined in the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008
section 4,
(3) In by-law 3(1) in the definition of vehicle delete “same meaning
as in the Road Traffic Act 1974.” and insert:
meaning given in the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008
section 4.
(4) After by-law 3(3) insert:
(4) These by-laws are subject to any written law and any
law of the Commonwealth about assistance animals as
defined in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992
(Commonwealth) section 9(2).

5.             By-law 26B amended

In by-law 26B(3) delete “owner of ” and insert:

responsible person for

6.             By-law 27 amended

In by-law 27 in the definition of alleged offender delete

“registered owner of ” and insert:

responsible person for

In by-law 33(b) delete “driver, registered owner or person in
charge of ” and insert:

(1) In by-law 35(1) delete “registered owner of ” and insert:

Note:  The heading to amended by-law 35 is to read:

of vehicle

In Schedule 3 Form 2 delete “owner/” and insert:
