QUEEN ELIZABETH II MEDICAL CENTRE AMENDMENT ACT 1991

AN ACT to amend the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre Act

1966.

[Assented to 23 November 1991]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1.    This Act may be cited as the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre

Amendment Act 1991.

Commencement

2.    This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

Section 3 amended

3. Section 3 of the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre Act 1966* is

amended by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsection

(la) For the purposes of this Act the term "medical centre" in subsection (1) is deemed to include such facilities as are, in the opinion of the Trust, necessary and convenient for the purposes of enabling a coroner under the Coroners Act 1920 to exercise the jurisdiction of a coroner under that Act. ".
