Quarantine Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATION UNDER THE QUARANTINE ACT 1908-1920.
I, THE Governor-General in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Quarantine Act 1908-1920, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Quarantine Regulations 1922.
The Quarantine Regulations 1922 (Statutory Rules No. 18 of 1923) are amended by the insertion of the following paragraph at the end of Regulation 4:—
Provided that a Quarantine Officer may inspect and clear between sunset and 10 p.m. any vessel which calls off Goode Island, Torres Straits, to pick up a Torres Straits pilot, but does not enter the port of Thursday Island. In any such case pratique shall not be granted having effect beyond the said port.
