Quarantine (Air Navigation) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATION UNDER THE QUARANTINE ACT 1908-1947.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation
under the

Amendment of the Quarantine (Air Navigation) Regulations.
Regulation 11 of the Quarantine (Air Navigation) Regulations is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead :—
“ 11.—(1.) Each person who arrives in Australia on board an oversea aircraft shall—
(
a )produce to the Quarantine Officer on arrival at the airport of entry a certificate in accordance with Form D certifying that he has been successfully vaccinated against small-pox within the period, being not less than fourteen days and not more than three years, immediately preceding his arrival in Australia ; or(
b ) satisfy the Quarantine Officer on arrival at the airport of entry that he has suffered from small-pox within the period of twenty years immediately preceding this arrival in Australia.
“ (2.) A person who fails to produce a certificate to, or satisfy, a Quarantine Officer in accordance with the provisions of the last preceding sub-regulation shall submit to being vaccinated, and shall be vaccinated against small-pox, at the airport of entry.”.
