An Ordinance to extend the Law of Qua-

rantine.

HEREAS it is expedient to provide for the event of the in-

diseases, before the receipt by his Excellency the Governor of such

intelligence as may enable him to exercise the precautionary powers

vested in him by the Quarantine Act;—Be it therefore enacted, by
