B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and -with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, afl follows :- 1. This Act may be cited as " The Pure Seeds Act Short title ttnd Amendment Act oif 1914 , " and shall be read as one with ~ com A ~r ~ nctinn " The Ptwe Seeds Act o} 1913,"* herein referred to as the Principal Act. 2. Sllbsection two of section five of the Principal Act Amendment is repealed, and the following subsection is inserted in of s. 5. lieu ther( ~ of : - [2. J Every such invoice shall specifically state that . the seeds passing on such sale are for planting or sowing and the kind or kinds of such seeds, and that such seeds contain no greater proportion or amount of foreign * 4 Geo. No. 1, ingredients than is prescribed with respect to that kind or those kinds of seeds, and, notwithstanding any agree- ment to the contrary, s11ch invoice when received by the purchaser shall be deemed to be a description of the seeds passing on such sale so as to constitute the transaction a contract for the sale of goods by description within the meaning of " The Sale of Goods Act of 1896."* Amendment 3. In paragraph (iiJ of subsection one of section ten of s. 10. of the Principal Act, the words" agreement, circular, or advertisement" are repealed. Amendment 4.
