I 4 tiio advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative

Assembly of Kew South '\Vales in Larliament assembled, and by tie authority of the same, as follows : —

1 . This Act may be cited as the “ Public Works (Leasing) siiort title.

Act, 1911.”

2 .   The following provision shall be deemed to have liad cll'cct A m endm en t of s. 9i

from the date of the commencement of the Public Works Act, 1900, and shall be read as subsection three of section ninetv-one of the said A c t:—

(3) Provided that in case any of the lands taken or Power to lease

acquired under the provisions of this Act for authorised 'works or for any public purposes arc not required for such works or purposes, the Governor or the Constructing Authority may, in lieu of selling them, lease such lands for any tei’m not exceeding fifty years, and subject to such conditions and reservations as to the said authority may seem lit. llents and other sums accruing in respect of any such leases sliall be paid to the Consolidated llevcnue Fund.
