1915. No. 202.

REGULATIONS UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE ACT 1913-1914.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Public Works Committee Act 1913-1914 to come into operation forthwith.

These Regulations shall supersede Provisional Regulations (Statutory Rules 1915, No. 111) under the said Act made on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Public Works Committee Regulations 1915.

Short title.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Works Committee Regulations 1915.

Witnesses’ expenses.

2. Witnesses appearing before the Committee or a Sectional Committee appointed under the Commonwealth Public Works Committee Act 1913-1914 may on the approval of the Chairman or Vice-Chairman he paid fees according to the scale set out in the Schedule to these Regulations, and in addition such expenses as are actually incurred in travelling to and from the places at which they are required to give evidence.

Remuneration of assessors.

3. Assessors called to assist the Committee or a Sectional Committee appointed under the Commonwealth Public Works Committee Act 1913-1914 shall on the approval of the Chairman or Vice-Chairman of the Committee or Sectional Committee be paid remuneration at the rate of Two guineas per diem.
