This instrument is the
Public Works Committee Legislation Amendment (2019 Measures No. 1) Regulations 2019 .
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Note: This table relates only to the provisions of this instrument as originally made. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this instrument.
(2) Any information in column 3 of the table is not part of this instrument. Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this instrument.
This instrument is made under the following:
(a) the
Defence Force Discipline Appeals Act 1955 ;(b) the
Migration Act 1958 ;(c) the
Public Works Committee Act 1969 .
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Omit “Schedule 2 to the
Public Works Committee Regulations 1969 ”, substitute “Part 4 of thePublic Works Committee Regulation 2016 ”.
Omit “Schedule 2 to the Public Works Committee Regulations as in force from time to time”, substitute “Part 4 of the
Public Works Committee Regulation 2016 ”.
Omit “ASC Engineering Pty Ltd”, substitute “Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd”.
Repeal the item.
Add:
For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of
threshold amount in subsection 18(9) of the Act, the threshold amount for a public work for defence purposes is $75,000,000.
Insert:
The amendment made by item 5 of Schedule 1 to the
Public Works Committee Legislation Amendment (2019 Measures No. 1) Regulations 2019 does not apply in relation to a work referred to the Committee under section 18 of the Act before that item commenced.
